Daily Inspirations of Greatness – Music

Inspiration comes in many shapes, different sizes, various forms, extremely random and often awkward times, but ultimately has the same affect on us, positive flow of energy and comfort.

In my opinion, the three most impactful types of inspiration are people, environments (environments consisting of places and situations with other people), and music.

For this session, I want to focus on music. Music is life, not in the terms of I’m in a band or  it’s my entire life / world, but music brings out so many things such as feelings, thoughts, energy, vibes, and even releases when the mood calls for it (nothing like a loud, very loud, karaoke session stuck in traffic on the way home from work to blow off some steam).

For our pleasure, below is a list of songs that put me in my Hammock (all the pun in the world intended on that one).  Some I’ve been listening for years and others I found last week. Disclaimer, the list contains a lot of the same genre & type of songs, but I really don’t care what you think. They’re meant to have a positive influence and overall put you in your Hammock. We’re gonna start with a live version of my all time Hammock jam, Feeling Alright, from Rebelution’s Live at Red Rocks concert, which I had the privilege of attending earlier this year. Piece of advice, if you haven’t been to Red Rocks, do yourself a favor and make it happen in the next 12 months, it’ll change your life.

Feel free to enjoy at your own risk, and please note that I don’t own any of the song rights, had a damn thing to do with creating the music video, or anything that would put me at risk and/or make me liable. A simple copy and pasting the embed URL is all I invested. Enjoy!
